Rachel & Darshan's Prestwold Hall Wedding

On Saturday 13th July Rachel and Darshan were married on one of the hottest days so far of this summer heatwave. The day started at Rachel's parents, where Rachel had her bridal makeup and hair done to complement her bridal look, drawing from both family traditions with a stunning ivory Pronovias dress and decorative mehndi on her hands and feet. We then met up with Darshan at Prestwold Hall who was waiting for his bride-to-be surrounded by excited family and friends. After the ceremony, the sun was high in the sky and guests were vying for shade whilst they enjoyed drinks on the lawn. We photographed Rachel and Darshan in some beautiful spots around the gardens, capturing some tender and happy moments, and Rachel wowed us with her 'back-of-the-dress' poses! After dinner, there were some very touching speeches with both fathers offering some loving advice to the newlyweds. I think this every time I photograph a new wedding, but there really are some of my favourite images in this collection, so much beautiful colour! I was very honoured to be a part of their day.
