Last Saturday we were at Lyndsey and James’s very English wedding in the rain at the beautiful St James’s Church in Papplewick and The Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel, Southwell. Lyndsey’s pretty pink colour scheme featured a bouquet of baby pink roses and peonies, gorgeous Cath Kidson favours and the palest blush made-to-measure silk dress. The rainy day turned the outside a lush green and guests were a sea of umbrellas as they arrived at the church. In the afternoon, Lyndsey and Jim escaped to the warm comfort of the hotel’s lounge for photographs, canapés and champagne! Wishing Lyndsey and James a very happy honeymoon.

I recently met with Julie at The Wedding Genie, who was absolutely lovely and has a real enthusiasm for weddings. I've met maybe one or two brides who were super-organised and embraced the planning of their big day, but for many more brides and grooms it can become overwhelming, especially when you have to fit the planning around work and home commitments. It's also difficult to choose suppliers when you have no point of reference or comparison. Julie's services are therefore invaluable in the run-up to your big day and she has personally vetted all her recommended suppliers - not just for ability but for their attitude and approach - so I'm very pleased to be one of them! I'll let Julie explain in her own words about her services and hope you'll choose to contact her soon.
I am delighted to be working with Mirror Imaging. Sarah’s philosophy is very similar to my own. We both want our clients to have the best experience they can when they work with us. Our standards are high and we hope to inspire our clients to create a wedding day that truly reflects their style and personality.
We are unlike most wedding planning companies because we want to give the opportunity for all couples to have access to a Professional Wedding Planner by making it affordable. We do this by allowing you to mix and match services rather than being obligated to a full wedding planning package. Its not just for the rich and famous, our service is for everyone. This is the biggest party you will ever plan why not get some professional help and take all the credit. It’s a happy time being engaged but when you start to plan it can become overwhelming and totally time consuming. Each time you open a magazine it’s full of offers to tempt you, and there are so many it’s often hard to know where to start. Our specialty is to make wedding planning fun, easy and not at all stressful. Our approach is to sort out your priorities of what you and your partner really want and help with your budget. When you decide what's really important the rest is easy. Our services are designed to guide you through the planning process, so if you do want to plan your wedding it will give you the confidence and knowledge to do it brilliantly and on budget. We can also help along the way, and on the day, or even plan the whole thing for you.
Our Philosophy is to Create, Support & Inspire you. We want you to have the perfect wedding day and to be able to enjoy every moment of it. Wedding Genie services are clear, affordable and can be mixed and matched. We wont charge you a percentage of your wedding, only for the time we spend with you. My husband (gorgeous chap) thought of the name of our Company, The Wedding Genie, because people can call me when they need me.
I am really excited to be able to offer one free hour of wedding consultancy to Sarah’s clients. Its aimed to help you get started or to answer and guide you with any wedding queries you may have. So not only do you get amazing photography advice but you can pair it with wedding planning too. I wish you all a fantastic wedding planning journey, the wedding day you truly wish for, and health, wealth and happiness during your marriage.
