Gemma & Matt's Wedding Day in Matlock & Ringwood Hall

The day started at Gemma's parents house in picturesque Matlock and we began by photographing Gemma's stunning dress: a bespoke Duchess satin and tulle dress fit for a princess, handmade by Matt's aunt, with some amazing crystal and pearl detail. We then went on to St Giles Church at Matlock, which was also where Gemma's parents were married and who were celebrating their anniversary on the day! After the wedding ceremony, with a rather beautiful stained glass window as backdrop, the guests threw confetti by the gates. Gemma & Matt then climbed a fair way to reach the top of the hill to capture them with Matlock and Riber Castle in the distance. They travelled by Beauford to the reception, which was held at Ringwood Hall and guests tucked into afternoon tea.

Shortly after the wedding Susan and I received a beautiful thank you card from Gemma's parents, and I so appreciate the message and words of thanks, which were wonderful to receive:
"A huge thank you for helping to make Gemma's day perfect. To be honest, you both became our wedding planners, making the logistics of the day run with military precision! We now understand the work you both put in to make it look easy for us. We cannot wait to see the results!"
So, here they are... some favourites from their special day! Please click an image to view larger. Wedding photographers Derbyshire
