Bad weather wedding photography

Many couples who are looking to book me as their wedding photographer ask about poor weather and the sort of photographs that can be achieved if the sun decides not to shine. In reality, bad weather can quite often mean good photographs, for example we can achieve real epic, romantic photographs with overcast cloudy skies and the diffused light is incredibly flattering. In fact, as a UK based Nottingham wedding photographer, more often than not the weather is typical of our country and we get rolling, thundery clouds that create a sense of drama in wedding photographs, delighting clients who were perhaps initially disappointed that the sun didn't shine for them.
