Emily & Simon

Emily and Simon were married on Saturday 11th September at The Carriage Hall in Plumtree. Their gorgeous colour scheme of blue and yellow, with some lovely, handmade personal touches to the wedding made for some beautiful images – especially as the sun defied all odds and shone all day with a stunning blue sky – except for a heavy rain shower right in the middle of their couple photos! This meant brollies (thank you Jo at Dennison Cars) and momentarily holding up traffic to have their photographs under the cover of trees, which turned out to be a special place for Emily and Simon, being their bike route together. I loved the sunflower bouquets, the beautiful vintage car driven by Jo, Susan’s (at Pretty Flamingo) makeup for Emily and Davina, the vibrant blue of the bridesmaid dresses, and that gorgeous cheese cake. To Emily and Simon: I hope you love the photos and have an amazing honeymoon in South Africa and Mauritius. See you soon!

Kim and Richard

Kim and Richard were married on Saturday 4th September at Kilburn Hall in Derbyshire. Having been together for seven years already, Kim made Richard a very happy man in an intimate ceremony with forty of their closest friends and family. Kilburn Hall is the home of Lord and Lady Fenton, who prepared a huge piece of sirloin followed by some delightful homemade desserts (and they were very good indeed!) for their wedding breakfast. I must say the guys look incredibly cool in their photos - totally worth smoking for! :-) Wishing Kim and Richard much post-wedding relaxation and I hope you love your photos. Alison and Dominic

Alison and Dominic were married on Sunday 29th August at Woodborough Hall. Alison was the epitome of Grace Kelly elegance and the camera just loved her! We started the day in West Bridgford with bridal preparations and moved on to Woodborough for the ceremony and reception. Despite the pouring rain early on, the clouds cleared and we had the brightest sunshine in the afternoon. Alison and Dom are clearly very much in love, so the photographs were so natural, beautiful and a pleasure to take. Jo at Dennisson Classic Cars chauffered the vintage white Jaguar, which provided a stunning backdrop too. Alison and Dom: I hope you enjoy your time away and we'll see you soon for the big unveiling of your gorgeous images.
