Felicity & Lawrence's Shottle Hall Wedding Day

Felicity and Lawrence were married at Shottle Hall on a very sunny day at the end of April, perhaps the only sunny day we saw this April! Their wedding had so many details that were personal to the couple and it's true that Felicity had thought of everything to make it as meaningful as possible. We started in the top floor suite at Birchover Apartments in Derbyshire with the girls getting ready and Felicity had her bridal makeup done by Susan at Pretty Flamingo. Birchover provided a beautiful backdrop, and most poignantly had the first dance lyrics written above the bed. We then moved on to Shottle Hall where the girls put their dresses on and made final preparations. After the ceremony, we stole away for some wedding photography with Felicity and Lawrence around the grounds. The marquee was decorated in a rustic romantic theme of hessian and coral, with almost everything being handmade by family and friends including a family brewed ale as wedding favours. Games were played before the wedding breakfast was served and then dancing started. I absolutely love their collection of photographs, with some of my favourite images of all time. Rachel & Darshan Engagement Session

Rachel and Darshan came for their engagement shoot at the weekend ahead of their July wedding at Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire. Every wedding booking with Mirror Imaging receives this complimentary session, to ease your nerves about the photography on the day itself and feel extra confident in front of the camera. May is a beautiful month and the gardens are looking lush and in full bloom, and on Sunday we were blessed with sunshine too. I love the colours in their resulting photos!

Sarah & Dan had their engagement photoshoot in the beautiful Nottingham University Gardens, one of our city's gems and somewhere meaningful to them. We were blessed with sunshine for the whole session! Their wedding is this July, with their reception being held at Nottingham Cricket Ground.
