Family Photoshoot in Nottingham

Autumn is a rather amazing time of year for photography. The light is beautiful so it's a great time to head outside and have some natural and fun portraits taken with your loved ones. Carly contacted me to arrange such a family photoshoot to celebrate her mum's 60th birthday and on Sunday we met on-location in Nottingham. They wanted a family portrait to include them all, including the two little ones who were born since I photographed Carly and Stefan's wedding in 2010!  These are three photographs I love from their session and illustrate our creative approach to photographing family groups. By standing, sitting and also squeezing right in, we capture a totally different mood.
