Kim & Craig's Engagement Shoot
Kim and Craig are getting married next month in Hucknall, followed by a reception at Bestwood Lodge, and they came for some engagement photos on Sunday at Newstead Abbey. We dodged the crowds who had come out to enjoy the sunshine, and had a relaxed half hour before heading off for drinks and wedding planning! Kim and Craig were more than happy to cuddle up or lark about for the photos, so the pictures are happy and natural: great job both of you!

Kate & Rob's Engagement Photos
Well we've had some freak weather this July, with some heavy rain and wind interrupting an otherwise warm and sunny month, and yesterday was one such wet-weather day, when Kate and Rob came for their engagement photographs! We went to Newstead Abbey, arriving in time for a very heavy shower. We braved on regardless so thank you to them both for this! Toward the end of the photoshoot the rain cleared and we had drinks in the nearby Hutt pub and planned out their wedding day, at Woodborough Church and Woodborough Hall at the end of the month. To Kate & Rob: I hope you both really like your images, and see you very soon for the big day itself!

A Spoonful of Love - Sarah & Dan's Wedding
Sarah & Dan were married at Farnsfield church with reception at Norwood Park in Southwell, on a beautiful sunny day. Sarah wanted a English country wedding, with her grandmother's vintage teapots providing their "Spoonful Of Love" theme. As Sarah and I were friends in school, it was lovely to see some old faces, many of whom I'd not seen for 15 years. The day started in the bridal suite at Norwood with a glass or two of champagne, with Susan at Pretty Flamingo doing Sarah's beautiful make-up whilst I was looking through all Sarah's gorgeous accessories - check out those shoes! Then Dennisson Classics arrived to chauffeur the girls to the church for the ceremony, then back to Norwood again. Floraldeco provided the country reception flowers and bouquets.
